Our OwnCloud instance now supports and even enforces TLS. Be sure to use https in any case, as you else might be in danger of running into an sslstrip-like attack. You can learn all about getting an account there over here.
Heyoo guys, Gant here. Time for the first breakdown of our income and expenses. We got the new server this month and it’s awesome. If you’re still in need of anything that I can run on it, shoot me a mail, we have more RAM than we could ever want!
So here’s the Math:
|Onglar||144 NOK||16,44 EUR|
|Total Donations||31,44 EUR|
|Extra IP||1,00 EUR|
|Total Expenses||60,00 EUR|
So I’ve covered half the server for this month. With Sion and another friend of Vincent planning to chip in as well this should all be fine and dandy for the next month.
We’re still working on adding all available services to the list and implementing status checking. Meanwhile we also have a new Logo, or whatever you want to call our new cube. We still can’t get access to our Certificate source, but rest assured we’re working on getting OwnCloud and all other web-based services, jabber and email secured.
A few of you will already know this one – OwnCloud is a fully functional replacement for file syncing applications like Dropbox or OneDrive. Our instance currently runs at http://oc.innovandalism.eu. I’ll be looking into getting another SSL certificate from StartCom next week.
Our install has currently a default Quota of 10GB. Encryption and additional apps like the CalDAV Calendar or the CardDAV Contacts are enabled. This version of OwnCloud also supports collaborative documents as you might know them from Google Docs or Etherpad.
Please email me or meet me on TeamSpeak 3 for your account. Everyone that frequents our TS is eligible. My email is still firstname.lastname@example.org.
